MANAGING ONE’S ACTIVITES ACCORDING TO ONE’S IMPACT

"The impact measurement project started with Kimso in 2019 was a key step in the development of Makesense. Clarifying our theory of change now allows it to be our compass in developing our engagement programs. We were able to learn the methods of designing questionnaires, and then administering them (a whole other challenge!), so that it would be most ingrained in our day-to-day activities.

We now design our programs based on the impact we want to generate, and are able to measure whether it works or not."

UCPA
BECOMING SELF-SUFFICIENT IN MEASURING ONE’S SOCIAL IMPACT

"We asked Kimso to work on measuring the social impact of our Solidarity and Equal Opportunities programs.

The work carried out on the CAP'Loisirs Sportifs program dedicated to disabled people has enabled us to identify the effects produced by the practice of sports on the public. The study also identified the levers for development and highlighted various very positive effects of which we were not necessarily aware.

This work now allows us to move forward independently in measuring the impact of a greater number of projects.”

INCREASING SKILLS IN SOCIAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT

"The demand to have a social impact evaluation of projects is a requirement which is becoming generalized. Kimso was a precursor on this subject in France and remains one of the leaders. It appeared natural to us to call upon these competences.

The participants were employees of the League, in charge of poles or in charge of missions. They had a vague notion and understanding of the concept. All the participants were satisfied with the training, and declared to have learned useful things in the framework of their projects.

With this day we have taken a step forward. The notion of assessing social impact is now understood by all the people who participated. They are therefore able to think about how to apply it."

BECOMING AWARE OF THE EFFECTS OF ONE’S ACTIVITY

"The VINCI Foundation wants to increase its efforts to analyze and calculate its impact. We started with one of the pillars of our action: the involvement of Group employees as association sponsors! We felt it was important to rely on an expert in the field and to have an external viewpoint. So we approached Kimso.

Kimso perfectly met our expectations, without complacency and with reactivity. The Kimso team was able to immerse itself in our realities, our specificities and quickly understood our challenges.

This impact measurement allows us to confirm certain perceptions that we had based on our intuition and allows us to move forward more serenely by improving our action thanks to some guidelines resulting from the study.

Entreprendre &+
FEED OUR STRATEGIC THINKING AND UNDERSTAND OUR IMPACT

”What impact had Entreprendre&+ on its supported social entrepreneurs and philanthropists in 10 years? This is the question we wanted to answer by launching an impact study with Kimso last summer.

Kimso's support was highly valuable in the initial stages of defining our evaluative question and the most appropriate method to answer it (qualitative approach) then in the detailed analysis of the data collected from our stakeholders. This allowed us to draw lessons, both on what makes our support unique and strong and on our areas for improvement.

We feel stronger to pursue our action and convince new philanthropists to join us. This is a key stage in our development, and we intend to draw on the elements of Kimso's report to fuel the work of our next strategy seminar!"

EVALUATING ONE’S TERRITORIAL ANCHORAGE

"We have great confidence in Kimso, in the human and professional qualities of the team and the richness of its accompaniment. We called upon the firm to better understand and value the impact that Voisin Malin has with its partners in the field, what our action brings them and the evolutions or transformations that it brings about.

This collective work sheds light on an important dimension of our action but also opens up interesting perspectives, both on the implementation of an internal evaluation process with our partners, and on a more global process that would mobilize the world of research.”
